About The Awards

The BrandLaureate Special Edition World Awards is initiated by the Asia Pacific Brands Foundation (APBF), the world’s only brands and branding foundation. 
The APBF, launched in 2005, is a non-governmental organisation, dedicated to the promotion and cause of brands and branding 
as it strongly believes that the future of all businesses rest in brands. 

The BrandLaureate Special Edition World Awards is an affirmation and celebration of brand supremacy and excellence. Entry to the Award is By Invitation Only and it is 
exclusively reserved for the crème de la crème of brands that are in a league of their own. This once in a lifetime Award is launched in 2015 in conjunction with The BrandLaureate tenth anniversary 
and to recognize and honour brands that have demonstrated superb brand performance in their respective fields. 

Recipients of The BrandLaureate Special Edition Awards are those that have mastered the science of brands and arts of branding. They are distinctive and eminent and are 
the chosen or preferred choice amongst consumers. In achieving this position, they have created good and lasting perceptions that are embossed and imprinted in the consumers’ minds. 
This is the hallmark of successful brands; brands that inspire and impact our lives and that of communities with their dynamism and positive attributes.


Being A BrandLaureate

The recipients of The BrandLaureate Special Edition Awards are known as BrandLaureates and receiving the Award signifies the following:

1)     The best in their respective industry.
2)     The recognition and honor given by the APBF, the world’s only brands and branding foundation.
3)     The endorsement from The BrandLaureate Awards, the world’s most prestigious and coveted branding award.
4)     The association of being with all the best brands, who are a class and league of their own.

Selection Criterion

The winners are selected based on the following guidelines :


1)      Brand Strategy

A strong and effective brand strategy that allows the brand to rise above challenges and 
stay ahead of the curve to achieve its brand vision.


2)       Brand Culture

Deep core values and engaging brand culture which permeate through the external and internal brand, thus enhancing the foundation and sustainability of the brand.


3)       Brand Innovation

Innovative pursuits that have enabled it to stay relevant and meet the demanding needs and expectations of consumers.


4)       Brand Loyalty

The Brand’s commitment to its brand promise has created strong brand loyalty amongst its customers


5)       Brand Communication

A communication blueprint that covers various media platforms, enabling the brand to achieve strong brand visibility, brand awareness and engagement with consumers.


6)       Brand Leadership

The Brand has a healthy brand performance year on year and it continues to push the envelope and scale new horizons to build on its sustainability.

Award Package

All recipients will be required to take up one of the two packages offered once they have agreed to accept the award.
